I am not man enough for your machinery
too sissy to stomach a pat down
too emotional for a confrontation
too weak to snarl back at the bomb dog
an anomaly of flesh and fury
flagged in your state-sanctioned surveillance
alarms wailing as they scan my body
another bent cog in the binary
Gibson rolling in their grave shouting “pink or blue”
this apparatus built by human hands
cannot classify me
cannot hold me
cannot humanize me
somebody better warn them
my dick is a national security threat
my dick might take down this entire airplane
my dick has gotten me thrown in the back of a police car
my dick is being profiled by the FBI as we speak
my dick calls out to me from my suitcase
reminding me of
that missing strut in my step
that ache in my loin
that soothing pressure rubbing against my belt buckle
anointed by my lover’s spit
blood and cum and DNA weaved into plastic
we are one in the same
when we are reunited
in the women’s bathroom
I decide
they will have to strip search me
torture me
rip me limb from limb
severing skin and silicone
they will have to fucking kill me
to take him away again
